A G rated film contains nothing that most parents would find unsuitable for young children; there is no nudity, sex, strong language, or drug use.
MPA Movie Ratings
Quick guide to the five main US movie ratings.
PG means some material may not be suitable for children, and parents are urged to provide guidance where the content is slightly more intense or mature.
PG 13 is a stronger warning that some material may be inappropriate for children under 13, such as more intense violence, language, or mature themes.
R rated films may include adult material such as strong language, explicit or persistent violence, sexual content, or drug abuse; anyone under 17 needs an accompanying parent or adult guardian.
NC 17 means adults only and no one 17 and under is admitted, used for films whose content is clearly intended only for mature audiences.
