On Wednesday, August 6th ahead of its official opening day on Friday, August 8th, audiences have the opportunity to see Freakier Friday early by attending the “Freakier Friday Fan First Screening” where they will receive a Freakier Friday friendship bracelet set as a gift with ticket purchase (while supplies last). August 6th marks the 22nd anniversary of Freaky Friday’s original theatrical release date. Freakier Friday, a sequel to the beloved 2003 film with a multigenerational twist starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan, will be released in theaters nationwide in 2025. In the film, Curtis and Lohan reprise their roles as Tess and Anna Coleman. The story picks up years after Tess (Curtis) and Anna (Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice. The “Freakier Friday Fan First Screening” begins on Wednesday, August 6th at 7pm local time.
